Jeff Freedman, Founder

Jeff Freedman thinks of himself as a meeting place.  He believes in the power of collaboration and the arts to bring people together to create deeper insights and new solutions.  

Jeff began his career at the advertising agency Foote, Cone & Belding where he worked on the Dockers and Compaq accounts.  As a researcher, Jeff has since worked with various companies, on accounts ranging from Marriott hotels, Sony PlayStation, PepsiCo., Hallmark, Yahoo!, Discovery Channel Store, Skyy Vodka, Blue Cross of California, Cleveland Clinic, Palmsource, San Francisco Chronicle, and LA.com.  Jeff spends his extra time volunteering with San Quentin prisoners, developing and facilitating resume-building and interview-skills workshops.

Jeff has an MA in Cultural Anthropology with an emphasis in Human and Organizational Transformation, and his BA in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.

He is also a Certified Expressive Arts Consultant and Educator. He is tapped into a large network of filmmakers, actors, poets, expressive arts therapists, and anthropologists, who can be brought in to collaborate on any project.

Liza Behrendt, Partner

Liza Behrendt's keen observational skills, ability to connect empathically, combined with a big dose of common sense, are what give her a remarkable stance when conducting research or working with people. 

Liza's diverse experience includes: project management and training
in the high tech field, notably during seven recent years with
biopharmaceutical giant Genentech; inner city youth programming; endurance sports; extensive international travel and volunteer work; and
improvisational arts.

Liza has a masters degree in human transformation and her bachelors from the University of Wisconsin where she got dual degrees in communication arts and womens studies.
